Professional Development Program for Mentors
The Edith Winthrop Teacher Center will once again offer the Professional Development Program for Mentors. This course is only open to teachers from the Edith Winthrop Teacher Center and The Teacher Center of Central Westchester. To register on MLP click here.
This two-day blended learning event, which is being co-sponsored by NYS Teacher Centers, is being held on May 15 and 29 at Northern Westchester BOCES in Yorktown from 8:00am - 3:00pm. The two facilitators will draw upon decades of research and authentic classroom experiences to dispel harmful myths about poverty on the effects on students. Educational Leadership Program
An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 4:15 at Monhagen Middle School Library, 555 County Route 78, Middletown, NY to discuss the opportunity to earn an Advanced Certificate for Building and District Leader through LIU. There is a reduction of tuition by becoming a part of the Middletown Cohort. Classes will begin in September so there is plenty of time to be accepted into the program. Educational Trip Through Italy
Join the Rockland Teachers’ Center Institute and the Westchester Teacher Center Institute on an 8-day educational trip through Italy from April 19 – 26, 2019. Experience the culture and history first- hand to help bring your lessons to life! You will explore Venice, Rome and Florence as well as other areas of Italy.
