Teacher Centers Receive Funding for 2026–2027
We are pleased to share that Teacher Centers have been included in the 2026–2027 New York State budget, ensuring continued funding for the upcoming school year. This achievement was made possible through the support of the Governor, the New York State Legislature, and the advocacy efforts of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). As a result, the Edith Winthrop Teacher Center (EWTC) will continue to provide high-quality professional learning opportunities, resources, and support to educators. We are grateful for this continued investment in educators and look forward to supporting teachers and schools during the 2026–2027 school year.
