Informational Workshop on National Board Certification for Teachers and Counselors
The Lower Hudson Teacher Center Network will be sponsoring an Informational Workshop on National Board Certification for Teachers and Counselors on Friday, May 18 from 3:45 - 5:00pm. Jump Start National Board Certification

Smart Schools Bond Act

The Teacher Center will be offering a DASA Certification Workshop on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9:00am – 4:00pm The workshop is being held at Woodlands HS in room 136. To register for this training Click Here.
The White Plains Staff Development Center will be facilitating a 3-hour Poverty Simulation Experience on Friday, April 13 that will be a unique, enlightening experience to help individuals begin to understand what life is like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress. On Saturday, April 14, there will be a 6-hour training session (9:00am – 3:00pm) for those who attend the Friday night session and would like to become a Simulation trainer. Please note you must have prior approval from your local Teacher Center for the Saturday training session and your attendance on Friday is mandatory. Poverty Simulation Experience
The Ossining Staff Development Center will be facilitating a 3-hour Poverty Simulation Experience on Thursday, May 3 that will be a unique, enlightening experience to help individuals begin to understand what life is like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress. It will be held from 4pm - 7pm at Ossining HS Gymnasium, 29 S. Highland Ave., Ossining NY. This experience will include an introduction, the simulation and a debrief. Educational Trip Through Italy
Join the Rockland Teachers’ Center Institute and the Westchester Teacher Center Institute on an 8-day educational trip through Italy from April 19 – 26, 2019. Experience the culture and history first- hand to help bring your lessons to life! You will explore Venice, Rome and Florence as well as other areas of Italy. Join us just for the trip or if you want information on possible credit options (CTLE, In-Service, and Graduate credit), additional fee will be available soon.
